Parenting mistakes no. 2,538

Yesterday I took M to the emergency doctor because he had been screaming inconsolably, writhing in my arms, for no apparent reason, for over half an hour.

It was a tantrum.

She was jolly nice about it, all things considered.

  1. Ha, ha! You really should have called this post 'Typical parenting mistakes no. 2,538' because I think we've pretty much all done something like that.

  2. Well, at least you jumped over the other 2,537 mistakes.

How did he/she confidently diagnose a tantrum?

    1. Oh no - I've made all the others too!

And to be fair, she didn't. She checked him out thoroughly while he smiled and burbled at her, and couldn't find anything wrong at all. She then sweetly agreed when I said 15 months was too young for tantrums...

  3. You never know, it may have been something like colic and the speedy car journey sorted it out? That would be my excuse anyway!

I know. I'm sorry. I hate these word recognition, are you a robot, guff things too, but having just got rid of a large number of ungrammatical and poorly spelt adverts for all sorts of things I don't want, and especially don't want on my blog, I'm hoping that this will mean that only lovely people, of the actually a person variety, will comment.

So please do. Comments are great...
